I. Privacy Policy and Personal Data Protection
In compliance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of April 27, 2016, regarding the protection of natural persons with respect to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, which repeals Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), and in accordance with Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on Personal Data Protection and the Guarantee of Digital Rights, BUJON OLLARES S.L./APARTAMENTOS DEL SURESTE S.L. (hereinafter HIROOM) informs users of its apartments through this document about the use and processing of personal data that they provide or will provide when staying in our apartments, as well as the data protection policy applied to such data.
II. Means Through Which Personal Data is Collected
Purposes of Processing
Personal data may be collected through online or in-person reservations and check-in, forms on this website, social media, external booking platforms, instant messaging applications, social networks, and traditional communication methods such as email, postal mail, or telephone. The collected data will be stored and incorporated into processing systems for which BUJON OLLARES S.L./APARTAMENTOS DEL SURESTE S.L. is responsible, depending on the building in which the reservation is made.
The purpose of processing this data is to manage the information received through the aforementioned channels in response to the user’s requests, including contact list inclusion, reservation management, service requests during the stay, and the sending of electronic communications through authorized channels. Users are informed that these data will be processed automatically for administrative purposes, business expansion, and service improvement, as well as for technical and commercial purposes related to the services offered. Data may also be stored in cloud computing services in accordance with GDPR regulations. In any case, only the essential data necessary for the aforementioned purposes will be collected and processed.
Users are responsible for the accuracy of their data, committing not to provide false data and to correct any inaccuracies when necessary. HIROOM provides users with all necessary means to update their data through the designated channels on our website. If users enter personal data of third parties instead of their own, they declare that they are authorized to do so. Likewise, users give their consent to be integrated into our platforms, apps, and other specific software.
The data provided by users may be shared with various service providers, law enforcement authorities, and other public or private entities related to our business, always within the legal terms established, either by legal obligation or to ensure proper service.
HIROOM is exempt from liability if any request for data correction or verification is made from the email address provided by the user through our web forms, as it will be assumed that the request originates from the user.
Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory. If they are not completed, it will not be possible to submit the information request. The collected or generated data will be processed, stored, and incorporated into processing systems for which HIROOM is responsible.
By submitting their contact, location, and identification information, the user expressly authorizes HIROOM to process their personal data as necessary for the management of reservations and their stay at our accommodations, as well as for maintaining the established relationships between the parties.
In the event of international data transfers to foreign entities outside the European Economic Area, they will be made only to countries with an adequate level of data protection and, in any case, will be covered by the European Data Protection Regulation or by current privacy agreements.
HIROOM provides users with all necessary means to update their data through the contact channels available on our information platforms.
III. Exercising Data Protection Rights
Users have the right to request and obtain free information about their personal data being processed, their origin, and any communications related to them. Users can send a written request to the provided address or to the email inf@hiroom.es, including in both cases a copy of their ID card or other similar identification document, to exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, right to be forgotten, data portability, restriction of processing, cancellation, and objection. Users may also file a complaint directly with the Supervisory Authority at www.agpd.es if they believe their rights have been violated.
IV. User Consent and Revocation for Informational Purposes
Given the nature of our business, by making a reservation, completing and submitting the required registration information, the user expressly and legitimately consents to being contacted and receiving information via any means, including electronic communication, about services and activities related to their stay at HIROOM, as well as from third parties with whom HIROOM collaborates. Users authorize the sending of personalized information tailored to their specific needs.
These communications may continue even after the end of the professional relationship with HIROOM, unless the user has explicitly objected to such processing using the designated means, in accordance with Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce.
Regarding authorized commercial processing purposes, the user has the right to withdraw their consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal. To do so, the user must send an email with the subject "UNSUBSCRIBE" under the terms indicated above.
